“ Superb customer service as always! Needed eggs. The shelf for white eggs was completely empty so I asked the closest "Joe" for help. They checked in back and hand delivered to me two cartons then began to restock the shelf. ”

“ Actually obsessed with TJ's but sadly the drive keeps me from stopping by too often. If you're a foodie like me, this store is your happy place. They have such a wide variety of products. Not to mention the BEST florals for cheap! The cashiers are always sincere and the conversation never feels forced or fake. I love when stores play music overhead & it'd actually good music! This store does get insanely busy, both inside & in the parking lot. ”

“ This is your typical, clean Trader Joe's. It's pretty well stocked, but it is a very popular store, so depending on when you go, they could be out of a lot of things. They have great, unique foods that you can only get at Trader Joe's. And their prices are really reasonable! This one also carries alcohol and has a pretty good selection. The employees are always so helpful and checkout is pretty speedy. My kids love to tag along when I go to Trader Joe's because the cashier usually offers them stickers and/or suckers at the end! They also have little games like "Find the Walrus" to keep them entertained! It's tough going if you have multiple littles though because their carts are small and can only hold 1 child. Some Trader Joe's have tiny carts for littles to push around and shop, but this one doesn't. Again, this Trader Joe's is super busy all the time! I have yet to find a time when it's not that busy. The parking lot is also usually congested. But all in all, one of my favorite grocery stores! ”

“ Dedicated customer to Trader Joe's. Like their great selection of organics. Bought a couple packages of 'Trader Joe's® Organic Fair Trade Cacao Powder' a few months back and used 3/4 of one bag when I read on Consumerslab.com that it contained 4.9 mcg of Cadmium per tablespoon(5g). 4.1 is the high limit set for adults. Went into the Ward Parkway store in Kansas City and spoke with Trey Hickman. Explained the reason why I wanted to return both packages and without hesitation, he refunded the total amount for both. He also stated he was going to inform the department responsible for ordering. This is the reason why I continually shop at Trader Joe's for their awesome customer service. I do not blame TJ whatsoever for stocking this item. The FDA does test products for Cadmium, but there are numerous brands of chocolate bars, powders, nibs, etc. on the shelves that exceed the maximum levels. ”

“ This location is always incredibly clean and stocked! I'd suggest trying to shop during non-peak hours because it can get very congested during busy hours. We've always received incredible service at check-out, it's always friendly and efficient. If you can't find an item, an employee is always willing to double check on its status for you. The wine selection is top tier and the flower section at the front is my favorite. ”

“ Okay so I love Trader Joe's. I know this isn't an original concept as most 30 somethings would agree that Trader Joe's is clutch for great food at a decent price. Shopping at any Trader Joe's gives me the same sense of satisfaction and happiness as shopping at a Whole Foods, except when I get to the cashier the total is always LESS than what I thought it would be in my head and the cashiers are so friendly, totally opposite from shopping at a WF. All of this aside, what you have here is a very standard TJs. It's got your frozen dumplings, your pre packaged salad kits, the curry sauce you love, and a good selection of fresh produce and cheese all at the great prices you expect from a TJs. I will say though, much like other TJs this one is nearly always packed. There aren't a TON of TJs locations in KC and this one services a good chunk of the metro so expect it to be busy when you pop in for your TJs fix. One good thing about this spot and most TJs locations that sell alcohol is that they have a pretty great selection of local beer. The reason it's a 4/5 star TJ's is pretty much a product of how busy it is. Sometimes they are out of certain items, especially if you go on the weekends, and the lines can be really out of control for a KC supermarket. Also the parking lot here is just bad. All of this being said, the folks that work here are great, and you'll likely leave happy after saving some money and finding some treasures in the aisles. ”

“ There's something about that Chariot Wine! I always schedule a trip to TJ's to stock up on wine, spices, frozen corn and potstickers, dog treats, bar soap, nuts, flowers, the winter warmer tea and all the Hot and New items that stand out to me! If your #1 kitchen appliance is the air fryer these days, TJs is a great place to pick up some frozen foods for quick meals. Really is a nice clean location worth pursuing on the regular! ”

“ I do like the fact that you can find unique items, I also like the fact that you can purchase eggs at an economical price. Overall very nice service, and the ambience of the store is pretty well laid out to where you can find things easily if you've been in the store before. I like Trader Joe's. There is an item that I wish they would bring back, and that is the New Mexico coffee. What happened???? ”

“ Allow me to count all the things that greatly annoy me about Trader Joe's: 1. Location. Why do you have to be 160+ city blocks and a 1/2 hour drive across town!? Unacceptable! 2. Ughh...I guess that's all... I certainly wish the Northland had a TJ's for sure. I just love stopping in and loading up on those amazing canned, packaged and frozen items that you just can't find anywhere and if you do, the price would be double. The ethnic variety is stunning; just today I loaded up on multiple frozen main courses, side dishes and appetizers from cuisines as diverse as Venezuelan, Indian, Italian, Japanese... and some good ole New Mexico Hatch chili pepper Mac and Cheese. My overloaded freezer looks like a hastily arranged UN crisis meeting. The staff are always accommodating and pleasant and I love the free samples - today they were offering mint chocolate cookies and it worked - I took home a box. For what it's worth; my wife's favorite thing is that they sell Brussel Sprouts on the stalk. She is easily amused. ”

“ Love, love, love! I come to check out the affordable seasonings and items to take home. I am always surprised at how well organized this place is. There is always some fun new item to try. I love picking up a bunch of seasonings as gifts for friends and family. I like to try at least one new item whenever I am in any area with a Trader Joe's. My new love is their Spicy Chakri Mix which is marketed as a snack, but I found the pieces too small to pick up so I now enjoy it sprinkled on my salads...crunchy goodness without the bulk. Although it says spicy, (in my humble opinion) it is not. I am always in awe at how many great items TJ's offer and have yet to meet any employee who is not friendly! ”
